This site is host to a new podcast I am debuting: This Week in Warfare.

The format of TWiW will be to bring to the listener, once a week, a series of seven short summaries of events from military history. Each of the seven will be something relevant to that day, but from years in the past. As the format matures, I may add more content to each podcast, perhaps focusing on significant technological advances also related to the dates in some way.

These first few weeks will be a little rough around the edges. I’ve come up with this idea, researched the first podcast, completely taught myself how to record/chop/mix audio, registered this domain, produced the first podcast and put together the rudimentary elements of this website, all in the span of about 4 days. As the format and the podcasts themselves mature, I hope to also bring more shine and polish to the rest of www.thisweekinwarfare.net, as well.

And, at some point that isn’t 3:00AM, I’ll also talk a little about who I am, and what motivated me to undertake this project. Until then, enjoy the inagural podcast of This Week in Warfare.
